Description
Col. Lee D. Cady, Commanding Officer of the 21st General Hospital, at his desk. Cady, a veteran of the First World War, attended the University of Missouri and Washington University, and served as a member of the Washington University staff from 1925 to 1942. After his service in the Second World War, Cady was appointed director of medical services for the Veterans Administration in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Later he served as director of the Veterans Hospital in Houston.
